Ethan writes, “I’ve experienced a lot of life ‘lifing’ these past five years—hitting a milestone age, but seeing your close friends and peers in ministry and music pass away suddenly, managing an older parent’s quality of life due to decline in their health, and seeing your big sister battle cancer a second time—this all makes you sit, think, write, cry, pray, sing and walk out that faith and trust in God you heard all those years in church.

The "Time" album not only features Ethan's signature gospel sound but also introduces fresh collaborations and innovative musical styles. It opens with **"Purpose,"** a unique fusion of Country and Gospel genres. This track features the angelic and refreshing vocals of rising star, Caiah Jones, a fellow Dallas native. Ethan describes "Purpose" as a tribute to a music community friend Rick Botello and a source of inspiration for anyone battling cancer.

**"Infinite Love,"** featuring emerging Christian and Gospel singer-songwriter, Nicholas Traylor, blends lyrical depth, vibrant melodies, and resonant contemporary worship + pop tones to capture the essence of God's boundless love.

The title track, **"Time,"** is a poignant ballad inspired by the recent loss of friends and the acceptance of new realities. Ethan says, “I pray it serves as a heartfelt reminder that while time is precious, it is not something to be feared when our hope rests in Christ, the author and finisher of our faith”.

**"Trust In The Lord"** is a throwback hymn re-interpreted with Ethan's simple, fun and quirky Gospel pop personality. He adds a bridge reminding us, "Every crooked place He'll make straight/Stay in your lane/Watch Him make a way".

**”Heaven Fighting for Me”** is a soul-stirring anthem that speaks to victory, resilience, and the unwavering power of divine intervention. Written and recorded a decade ago, this treasured song has been lovingly revived to honor the enduring life and legacy of Latisha Boyd Smith. Featuring the heartfelt voices of Latisha and her remarkably gifted daughters, Arie and Eme, this release stands as a tribute to faith, family, and the strength that carries us through.

Also included is a reimagined version of Ethan’s Top 30 Billboard Gospel radio hit single, **"My Hope Is In Glory."** Though condensed and unplugged, this rendition maintains its electric urban contemporary gospel vibe, still perfectly suited for a stepper’s groove.

Ethan concludes the album with reflective and soulful anthem **"Aliens,"** featuring the exceptional spoken word and rap artist, ShySpeaks.
